Mission:

To engage people living with HIV and their supporters in influencing HIV/AIDS policy at all levels of government; to promote HIV awareness in Sonoma County; and to advocate for HIV care and prevention funding.

Political decisions are being made that will have a direct impact on HIV/AIDS services here in Sonoma County. Our legislators must hear from us directly how their choices will affect you.

Learn how to effectively tell your story and have an impact on Sacramento's and Washington's actions.

Activities will include:

• Convening a diverse group of individuals
• Training people who wish to speak in effective advocacy techniques
• Developing a calendar of local speaking engagements regarding the state of HIV in Sonoma County
• Representing the funding issues specific to Sonoma County on the State and National level
