Ed Lynch has the benefit of having both a parent and uncle who were artists in their own right. His father steered him into art, as his elementary school success showed no signs of promise. Nevertheless he made it to university and created his largest works to date: scenery for the theater performances. He actually found a skilled mentor to teach him classical drawing, which he continues at an obscure venue in Occidental. Upon retirement he changed directions and sought to do dreamy abstract landscapes. A recent trip to Scandinavia and Berlin has inspired him, or so he says. Let's see what the future brings about.
