Frank's work was based on his love for clean and touchable forms, reflecting his technical background. He enjoyed the process and the final product, the artistic and technical challenges and the reactions his sculptures received. It was a great joy for him to observe people looking at his work, not only with their eyes, but also with their hands. He strove to give value to his materials which were often discards of man or nature. Frank was a founding member of Sonoma County Art Trails, Art at the Source and Sebastopol Center for the Arts. He was a supporter of Art for Life and made this gift shortly before his passing in August. He was a wonderful man, a wonderful artist and is greatly missed by his many, many friends.
