My paintings have many layers of paint and collage papers. I begin painting layers on paper or canvas then I collage papers over the paint then paint over the paper until I have a rich texture. I try to create surfaces that are visually intriguing and mysterious with expressive colors and forms. I create my own cultural history and at the same time let the viewer create a personal history. With my work I want people to feel something.
