I paint sharp focus watercolor still lifes in which I endeavor to convey the intimacy I establish with my subjects. I use thin layers of paint to produce luscious, luminous colors. It is my intent to take the viewer on a visual journey back to a specific moment in time that I have captured or rescued. I lost my brother to AIDS in 1987. I wish he had had the support and services that Face2Face provides for those living with HIV.
