Patricia started out painting realistically from images she had taken with her camera. That was in 1990 with Bets Holland of Bolinas. Since that time Patricia has taken many art classes at both college level with Jack Scott and with other local art teachers including Susan St. Thomas and Susan Cornelis. She currently is a mixed media artist and either paints abstractly in acrylic or collages with paper which she often prints with a mono print gelli plate. She has entered more than 100 art shows in both Marin and Sonoma counties at AWS Apple Blossom Show, Sebastopol Center for the Arts, Santa Rosa Arts Center, Graton Gallery, Fulton Crossing, Usher Gallery, Viva Mexicana Restaurant, Occidental Arts Center and Art at the Source, Susan Wosk 'The Family Art Show' and her home studio. Soon she will show and sell her art at Peacetown sponsored by AWS Art group. She has hosted both collage and soul collage groups.
