My paintings are explorations of intuitive energy as I attune to my soul----that is, my own natural physical rhythms within, my unique experience in the world, and my knowingness of my own existence. My paintings ultimately express my own true nature; a nature of love, joy and beauty within which is inherent in all of Life. I am drawn to “marks” as an inner language which I continue to discover. I feel directly connected to the first beings who made marks to communicate, for the pure joy of making them and who “drew” to express the natural markings of nature. The beauty for me is exploring relationships, the energy and communication both within relationship and the milieu in which the relationship exists.
