My hands hold the desire for connection -- for as long as I can remember, they have instinctively intertwined elements of nature. A piece of fabric and a subsequent trip to Guatemala in 1974 began my weaving journey. I was fortunate to have brilliant and patient teachers to guide me and to develop the technical skills that make weaving so satisfying. I’m grateful to be a part of this ancient tradition that connects me with other weavers around the world and to share my vision of nature’s harmony by weaving functional textiles for clothing and home décor using rayon, cotton, and wool yarns – usually with a touch of metallic threads for sparkle.
