The practice of Botanical Art offers the artist a world of discovery. It’s a world of color and shapes and nature’s disciplines of patterns. It’s a world of science, but mostly a world of beauty just waiting to be expressed. I primarily use colored pencil on drafting film which allows for minute details and vibrant color, a perfect medium for depicting these Pine cones.
