Following a long tradition, I make individual ceramic tiles, pressing textures from local plants into the soft clay and carving natural or abstract shapes. After glazing with shining colors, I fashion these tiles into mosaic tables and wall art, with a focus on the Sonoma County natural beauty in this unique and fragile environment.
