Tags: Over 350 people gather for Transgender Day of Visibility event in Santa Rosa! Many individuals who spoke at the event talked about the power they felt after after coming out.
“This is a day to celebrate just all of the beautiful things that come with being trans and being a part of this community,” Joy Anderson, Translife programs coordinator, said Sunday. “We don’t want to just focus on murder and violence, we want to focus on the beauty and the resilience of our community as well, which is why this day was created.”
