December 1 is World AIDS Day

Today we remember the lives lost to HIV/AIDS, honor those living with and affected by HIV, and advocate for the future of HIV prevention, education, and treatment.

According to the world health organization, an estimated 44.1 million lives worldwide have been lost to HIV/AIDS. Though great strides have been made in access to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, HIV continues to impact an estimated 1.2 million people in the US today.

At Face to Face, we know that barriers to care impact people’s individual health and the health of the community. That’s why we offer free services for HIV prevention & testing, and for those currently living with HIV.

When loving kindness meets practical care, no one has to go it alone.
