August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day, a day to honor lives lost to overdose and to raise awareness of the overdose crisis.
Each month in Sonoma County, an average of 12 people die of drug-related overdoses. With the increasing presence of fentanyl in the local supply, our community needs access to resources for prevention and support.
At Face to Face, we know that barriers to care impact people’s individual health as well as the health of the community. That’s why we offer naloxone, drug testing strips, and other supplies for overdose prevention and response. Supplies are available in our office, mobile van, and 24/7 vending machines!
