A retired nurse having worked in the Peace Corp in Iran, art is a way for me to cope with world events and personal family drama. While painting I feel I am in a thought free zone, a mini vacation from reality. I am grateful for SRJC and their lifelong learning program which offers art classes and more at no cost. I hope viewers of my art experience peace of mind in this present moment.
