As the son and nephew of two working artist, my father introduced me early to art lessons as well as an appreciation of art and artists. As a child I remember my father saying I was "no Michaelangelo". My mother said that I drew and painted better than my father. My technique got a major boost, when I moved from the East Coast to Northern California in proximity of my artist uncle. Another boost in the 90s in the Atelier of David Hardy in Oakland who taught me classical technique. For ten years I participated in Art at the Source as well as showing in Red Shoes, Harvey Mandelstein's Gallery in Santa Rosa.
