My name is Joel Bennett and I’ve been a ceramic artist here in Sonoma County for nearly 50 years! The majority of my work since the early 80’s has been in burnished pit fired vessels, wall pieces and sculptures. I fell in love with the smooth, soft, polished surfaces, and the multitude of colors and markings of the pit firing process!
