Marguerite Brennan is a Sebastopol, CA - based artist and, since late 2017 is a transplant from the East Coast. She has been working in clay since 1973, and received her BFA from Philadelphia College of Art/University of the Arts in 1980. Her clay studies have led her to Instituto de Allende in Mexico and Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. Marguerite’s clay-making passion extends to functional and sculptural arenas, with a trademark naive animal imagery characterizing her work. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the US and her work is in the private collections of Nicolas Cage, Bette Midler, Lorraine Bracco, Francis F Coppola, Aidan Quinn and David Strathairn.
