Born in El Salvador. Studied art at Simmons Collage, Boston,MA. and Universidad de Las Americas, Puebla, Mexico. I have been painting for many years . I work with collage/ mixed media, incorporating old and new elements. Painting many layers until I have a rich texture. As the layers build I am able to excavate into the surface sanding to reveal the hidden beauty that lie beneath. I create my own cultural history and at the same time let the viewer create a personal history.
