HIV is Not a Crime Awareness Day is a call to end the stigma and unjust laws that criminalize people living with HIV
Across the U.S., outdated and discriminatory laws continue to punish people simply for their HIV status. Despite decades of medical advancements that prove HIV cannot be transmitted through casual contact and that treatment can reduce the virus to untransmittable levels, people living with HIV still face disproportional discrimination for their health status.
At Face to Face, we believe that everyone deserves dignity, access to care, and the ability to live free from fear and discrimination. We provide our community with access to free, anonymous, and confidential HIV testing that is offered in both English and Spanish and only takes 20 minutes!
Let’s work toward a future where people living with HIV are treated with fairness and compassion. It’s time to fight stigma and advocate for change
