Today is National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day
With over half of all people with HIV in the United States being aged 50 or older, it’s critical to focus on their unique health, education, and support needs.
For over 40 years, Face to Face has been in community with people in Sonoma County living with HIV. What was once a devastating diagnosis is now a manageable condition for many, thanks to advancements in treatment and care.
Today, we are privileged to share space with a vibrant community of older adults living with HIV, thriving and showing the world what resilience looks like. On National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day, we honor their strength and the progress we’ve made together.
