October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month
According to the substance abuse and mental health services administration, in the United States last year 16.8% (or 48.4 million people) over the age of 12 had a substance use disorder in the past year.
Harm reduction agencies play a vital role in substance use prevention by providing services to help prevent overdose and the progression of substance use.
At Face to Face, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to be the healthiest version of themselves. That’s why we provide our Sonoma County with the tools they need to reduce the risk of harm from substance use. We offer a syringe exchange, naloxone and fentanyl test strips, counseling, and linkage medication assisted treatment.
