We are a small yet mighty team at Face to Face. If it weren’t for our volunteers we would not be able to do our work. They are the backbone of our “operations.”
One of our long standing volunteers, Frances Fuchs came to work at our agency in the late 1980’s. “There were so many good men dying of AIDS. It was heartbreaking and there was only one place that was really addressing their needs in Sonoma County, Face to Face.”
Frances along with 2 colleagues, John Tarrant & Gregory Williams were motivated to help staff deal with all the loss and grief. They started by facilitating whole staff retreats to work with the staff on an ongoing basis.
Frances says that being a part of Face to Face has enhance her life. Helping to support so many dedicated, caring, competent and interesting staff over the years. She has such a sense of pride in being a part of that.
To this day Frances is here for our team. They meet monthly to give everyone an opportunity to share how their work effects their private as well as professional life.
So many of our staff members over the years are grateful for Frances’ input and dedication to the team.
Thank You Frances for being a vital part of our Face to Face family over the years!
