What is a window period? A window period is the time between when a person is exposed to an infection and when a test can accurately detect it.

For each person and each type of infection window period time will vary. Tests done too early may not be accurate. At Face to Face, we recommend that sexually active people get tested for STIs every 3-6 months and with each new partner.

At Face to Face, we know that barriers to care can put people’s individual health and the health of our community at continued risk. That’s why we offer HIV, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis testing for FREE!
Testing is confidential, anonymous, and available in both Spanish and English—with results in 20 minutes!—no appointment necessary.

Come visit us Face to Face at 873 Second Street, Santa Rosa. We’re open Tuesday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Testing ends at 4:00 p.m. each day as results take 20 minutes to develop).
