“The number of newly diagnosed cases of HIV in Sonoma County has increased in the past five years, a troubling trend that’s resulting in more cases among Latino and female residents.
Local health officials pointed out that men who have sex with other men still comprise the largest number of new cases. But they warned that rate of exposure among people engaging in heterosexual sex is increasing.”
